He advanced on her again, slowly, cautiously, drawing one of the knives he'd taken from her. Reaching out, he ran the flat of the blade along her jawline, trying to get some kind of reaction from her. "Lieutenant, stand up," he ordered, withdrawing the knife, tucking it back into his belt. What would it take to snap her out of this? That was as much part of his new little experiment as anything else - how long, and with what stimulus, would it take her to realize where she was and what had happened?
