Her arms instinctively wound around him when he hugged her, one hand sliding through his hair. "I've missed you too," she murmured. "Every moment since I left Tuesday morning... I was so worried when you didn't show up to work." The thermometer wasn't forgotten, but getting him back to bed was probably more important, and they were moving that direction. Hugging him was also important, and even though she hated the circumstances a measure of contentment stole into her heart at being wrapped up in his arms again. She tried to get him to lean on her more, and when they got to the bed tried to ease him down onto it.
